One of our most frequent reasons for a callout is to carry out the tree removal landowners need in order to keep nearby roads safe.
Last week we told you about how our hedge trimming services helped to clear the space for a new bus lane near the Trafford Centre.
This time we’re on Woodhouse Road in Urmston, at the junction with Davyhulme Road – and with a triangular layout of single-lane roads, it’s important to keep the carriageways clear at all times.
Our client, Brookhouse Nurseries, called us out to clear a poplar tree that had become unsafe adjacent to the road.
We had to close the junction to carry out the work – but we were able to do so in controlled conditions, which is of course much safer than simply waiting for the tree to fall before clearing it away.
Significantly, we were able to use a cherry picker complete with outrigger pads for extra safety and stability, without the risk of traffic passing close by it.
This commitment to safety is a key part of our provision of the tree removal clients need on a regular basis – and one of the many reasons why landowners return to us each time they have a tree in need of felling.
